Profile

Every user registered on “My Book Fair” has a designated profile, such as “Exhibitor”, for example. Unlike on other platforms, users can have more than one profile.
If you always keep your profile up to date, you make it easier for users of the platform, e.g. your potential business partners, to search and look for you.

You will find your profile or your profiles after login at "My Book Fair" under "Personal Data & Services - Personal Data". In an overview you can see the profiles you could select and the profile(s) you have already added and completed.

Exhibitor Profile
Every employee with an exhibiting company can be linked to his or her company when registering. The company's online administrator must confirm that they are employed by the company. After that, all Premium Services at “My Book Fair” can be used in full.

If an employee changes companies, he or she can simply delete the old exhibitor profile and set up a new one.

People who work for several different companies can give themselves several exhibitor profiles. An exhibitor profile is valid when the relevant online administrator confirms that you work for that company.

Trade Visitor Profile / Bookseller Profile / Translator Profile If you attend the Fair as a trade visitor or are a bookseller or translator, you can enter your profile accordingly. This makes it possible for other users of the network to target their search for you. Several profiles are also possible, such as the combination of trade visitor and bookseller profiles.

You can delete any profile that no longer applies. A new profile can be entered at any time.

You can select your profile when you register, but can also do so at a later date. All profile options are available to you at any time under your personal details.

Journalist Profile
Journalists who wish to be accredited for the coming or current Book Fair must enter a Journalist Profile. This can either be done on registration or at a later date.
Valid credentials as a journalist must be uploaded every year in order for a journalist to be accredited.

Exhibitor employees with journalism activities can also set up a Journalist Profile alongside their Exhibitor Profile.



Important to remember!

You cannot use any of the services at “My Book Fair” if you have deleted all your profiles, nor is it possible to purchase an online ticket or exchange a voucher without a profile.

Every year, trade visitors, booksellers and translators are requested by the Frankfurt Book Fair to confirm that their personal details and their profiles are correct. If these data are not confirmed, the Book Fair is obliged under data protection law to delete the account. In this event, all stored data such as appointments, search lists and contacts, will be lost.

If you want to set up several profiles: please do this under just one registration and do not register individually for each profile. Thanks to the flexibility of the profiles and the fact that they can be combined, you can provide a correct picture of your professional status at any time.
