Personal Data and Settings

Keep your personal details always up to date, so that potential business partners can find you in the Who's Who and contact you.

Your personal details are your master data at “My Book Fair”. When registering, all obligatory fields are marked with an asterisk (*). Master data are first name, surname, e-mail address (login), password, address, contact details and photo.
Under “Personal Data & Services - Settings”, you specify whether and which details are to be displayed in the Who's Who.

We only need your date of birth if you want to apply for a visa and require an official invitation.

In your settings, you let the Book Fair know whether your details are to be shown in the Who's Who (e.g. e-mail address). Your e-mail address will always only be openly displayed to logged in and authorized users. You can stipulate whether your photo and your contact details are to be displayed in the openly accessible part of the Who's Who.

In your settings, you also provide the Frankfurt Book Fair with the following information. Do you want to be written to in German or English? Do you want to receive Book Fair information or not? If you are a journalist: would you like to subscribe to the Electronic Press Service?

Please note: trade visitors, booksellers and translators are asked by us once a year to confirm that their personal data is correct. If you fail to provide this confirmation, under data protection law we are obliged to delete your account. With this deletion, all data linked to the profile will also be deleted, such as search lists, appointments and contacts.
